Over the past few years, it has been witnessed that the role of a Chartered Accountant has expanded beyond the traditional finance disciplines to the broader aspects such as business strategy and transformation initiative. Our members are realizing that while their role has evolved, there is an increased scope to expand their influence within the business and further make the most of their unique skill set.

Chartered Accountants in business have an array of skills and abilities to help their organization deal with current challenges of the business environment and make sure that the strategy effectively bonds short-term aspirations with long-term goals perusing the key drivers of sustainable success.

CMII in its endeavour to promote, establish & popularize the Chartered Accountancy profession for the benefits of the members in Industry, is delighted to announce that it has introduced the paperless system for nominations to mitigate the inconvenience faced by the members due to conventional system of filing nominations. Chartered Accountants beyond their conventional role of being a financial expert are now being categorized as creators, enablers, preservers and reporters of sustainable value. Realizing the significant role and exemplary achievements of our members and with a view to acknowledge their distinguished efforts, CMII has instituted the highly revered ICAI Awards few years back. Since then, we have been successfully organizing these awards annually and have bestowed these awards to numerous high achievers, who have done marvellous work for strengthening their organization. Precedent winners of these prestigious awards have been recognized as role models not only by the Chartered Accountants’ fraternity but also by the industry at large.

Acting as vital connecting link between the members in Industry and ICAI, CMII is placing extensive as well as rigorous efforts to enhance the brand image of the Indian Chartered Accountants as the most competent professionals across the globe.

The awardees will be finalised by a Jury comprising of eminent leaders from various industries. Please note that the last date for sending nominations is 31st October 2015 respectively.
