The world today is operating in a newer dynamics and the globalization has unfolded the newer vistas of opportunities for all professionals including Chartered Accountants. The business environment has expanded the horizon of professional services and the ascent of globalization has bought into fold the emergence of global professionals. It is matter of pride for us that saddled with the high quality training and other competencies, the members of our Institute have been able to excel globally in the all spheres. With these global opportunities in mind, the motto of Action Plan 2014-15 has been kept as ‘Moving towards New Frontiers". 

We are constantly working towards accomplishment of various tasks outlined in the Action Plan 2014-15. Coming out with Global Career E-kits to facilitate members to leverage global opportunities is one of the important initiative highlighted in the Action Plan. These kits are conceptualized to provide panoramic view of the primary information to our members intending to go abroad for professional forays. 

I am pleased to share with you that first such "ICAI Global Career E-Kit–UAE” has been launched in Dubai, on 1st May, 2014. In order to enable our ICAI members to capitalize such opportunities more such country specific modules are at advanced stage and will be made available shortly. 

This Global Career E-Kit covers general information of related jurisdiction such as demographic details, economic environment, useful business information , visa requirements etc. In addition, useful information such as contact details of local chapter, information on MoU/MRA and FAQs for members abroad is also included in these E-Kits. 

I am confident that the information contained in the E-Kits will assist our members to establish a preliminary interface with the jurisdiction to serve in times to come. 

The suggestions to improve it further are also welcome.
