Business Finance has witnessed dramatic changes during the last few years.
 
There have been innovations in finance theory and practices. Not only new instruments of raising of funds have been invented but new methodologies of dealing with the Risks have been practised.
 
The Business environment has become all the more challenging and difficult.

We have witnessed global financial crisis and the Business organizations are facing financial turmoils.

A good manager is that who responds to changes and challenges and learns from the experience how to cope up with problems.

The changed circumstances have called for the competent and capable professionals to enable the business organizations to face such challenges.

In consonance with these objectives, the ICAI has decided to launch Master in Business Finance Certificate Course at different places of the country.

The purpose of this Course is to enhance the knowledge as well as competency level of the members of the Institute in each and every area of Business Finance, in theory and in practice, that are relevant, nationally and inter nationally. Crafting a world class Finance professional out of a Chartered Accountant with global outlook and ability to command, control and create best practices to the best advantage of stakeholders, the society and the nation is the ultimate goal. Empowerment and career enrichment as a professional cum just the way. The course is intended to position them as leaders in the global Financial Management . The Course is targeted at the members, either already or prospectively, in strategic Financial Management and Cross Border Transactions. The Government, Regulators including the SEBI, RBI, the entire business world including the MNCs across the globe, investors and other stakeholders would be the potential beneficiaries.

The Course aims at

To enable the members to gain acumen, expertise and in-debth knowledge on various tools & techniques of Financial Management;

To empower the members with the technical skills as well as analytical and decision making discretion in the Management of Finances;

To provide thorough knowledge of the global best practices.

To provide an overview on the legal and regulatory framework in Financial Management arena.

The registration for the first batch at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata centres is going on and is opened till 15th April, 2009. The registration will be on the first come first served basis. Members interested in joining the course may apply now for the registration.

The venue and the dates for the classes for all the Centres will be announced in due course.
