Income Tax authorities are carrying out search operations at establishments belonging to real estate major, the HDIL Group, for alleged tax evasion, a top IT source said.

The search operations are being carried out in around 20 establishments of two HDIL Directors and its Chairman, a senior Income Tax offical said here.

The search operations, which started yesterday are still going on and around 200 IT department officials are involved in the operations, the official said.

The operation is being carried out by the Director, Income Tax (Investogation) Unit 2, the official said.
