Certain news items have appeared in some newspapers alleging that a survey was conducted by Indiaforensic Consultancy Services, Pune, in collaboration/jointly with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India which is factually incorrect. In this regard, it is clarified that at no point of time, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has conducted any survey/study on the subject Early Warning Signals of Corporate Frauds either with Indiaforensic Consultancy Services or with any other organization. Having seized of the matter, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has asked for further details, from the organization concerned, for investigating the matter further and consequently taking appropriate action. This is for information of all concerned.
