Applicability of Unstructured Learning Activities |
|
September, 23rd 2008 |
The unstructured learning activities have become applicable with effect from 1st January 2008. The members not holding COP, members residing abroad and senior members of the Institute could complete their entire CPE credit hours requirements through unstructured CPE learning activities only. In this regard, the Council of the Institute has issued an Advisory on Unstructured CPE Learning Activities, which was published in June 2008 issue of the Institute Journal. This Advisory would serve as a guidance and direction to the members who complete their CPE Hours Credit requirements through Unstructured Learning Activities. According to this advisory, the members are required to submit a Self-declaration form, once in a year only, before 31st May, to avail the CPE Hours Credit for the unstructured learning activities undergone by them in the previous year. The last date of submission of the Self Declaration form for the current calendar year is 31st May 2009. The format of the self-declaration form is given below for reference of the members. The same is also available in the Advisory on Unstructured CPE Learning Activities already uploaded on the Institute website (www.icai.org) and the CPE Portal (www.cpeicai.org). The members may submit the Self Declaration Form to the concerned Decentralized Offices or to the Sub-Decentralized Offices for onward submission to the concerned Decentralized Offices.
