| The additional bench of the sales tax tribunal is being established here and it will start functioning from Monday. At a press meet here on Thursday, Mr K. Sanjeeva Rao Naidu, the district judge, said the bench would deal with disputes relating to sales tax, luxury tax, entry tax and professional tax in the nine coastal districts from Srikakulam to Nellore. He said 5,576 cases were pending and they would be taken up from Monday. The endeavour will be to dispose of the cases as soon as possible, he said. The bench will have three members, including Mr Naidu.
