India's April-July direct tax receipts were up 3.27 per cent from a year earlier to Rs 739.90 billion, the Central Board of Direct Taxes said in a statement on Monday.
Corporate tax receipts were up 2.6 per cent to Rs 426.85 billion in the first four months of 2009/10, while income tax collections grew by 4.33 per cent to Rs 312.79 billion, it said.
