Inviting Suggestions for the book on History of Income Tax Appellate Tribunal

    Shri G.D. Agarwal, Hon'ble President ITAT, has mooted an idea of publishing a book
 giving glimpse of the glorious history of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).
 For this purpose, he has constituted the Committee of the following members to
 prepare/compile a comprehensive and informative book having historical coverage of
 ITAT:-






    (1)     Shri P.M. Jagtap, Hon'ble Accountant Member
    (2)     Shri N.V. Vasudevan, Hon'ble Judicial Member
    (3)     Dr. Arjun Lal Saini, Hon'ble Accountant Member

    The above Committee would function under the guidance and supervision of Shri
 R.S. Syal, Hon'ble Vice-President.

    This book is going to be the official publication of the ITAT and the Committee
 invites all the Hon'ble Members of the ITAT, former Hon'ble Presidents, former
 Hon'ble Vice-Presidents and former Hon'ble Members of the ITAT, office bearers and
 members of all the Tax Bar Associations, Officers of the Income Tax Department and
 other stakeholders having association with ITAT to give their valuable inputs, ideas
 and suggestions to make the book comprehensive. You may also share your
 experience during the association with ITAT and provide photographs and other
 materials (soft copies), which can form part of the book. You are also requested to
 suggest a suitable title for this book. Your suggestions and inputs may be sent to
