The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in May 2012 and the Common Proficiency Test (Paper Pencil Mode) held on June 17.

Since December 1949, the Chartered Accountancy Examination is held twice a year.

The top three rank holders on all India basis of the CA Final Examinations are from Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore.

The top three rank holders of the Common Proficiency Test are from Guntur, Hyderabad and Ujjain, a release from the institute said.
