On the back drop of low credit off take and rising non-performing assets, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee has convened a meeting of the chiefs of the all the public sector banks on June 14 in New Delhi.

This is the first meeting between FM and PSB chiefs after the banks have announced their annual results fir 2009-10.

FM would review the over all performance and key parameters of the PSBs,'' said a PSB chief. Other issues likely to be discussed include agriculture, SME, lending to the priority sector, financial inclusion.
