The Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) Chapter, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which was established in 1990, held its annual event at the auditorium of Al-Shallal Theme Park. The event was widely attended by chapter members, sponsors and guests with families.

Chairman Ravish Tatli reviewed chapter activities and commended the efforts put in by committee members last year to provide seven quality technical sessions with renowned speakers of various fields.

He briefed chapter members on the finances of the organization that would enable it to bring speakers from India in the future. He thanked all sponsors and members for their support.

A grand raffle was held with over 100 prizes comprising air tickets, televisions, laptops, gift vouchers, cell phones, watches, perfume sets, gold coins and electronic items.

Sajjadali Gulam Hussein won two round-trip tickets to Mumbai sponsored by Roche Diagnostics. Farooq Vaid won an iPad sponsored by Ernst & Young. Mansur Deewanji, Mustansir Bharmal and Dilip Tiwari won Dell Laptops sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Kenneth Hickman, Sarfaraz Khitani and Vishwanath Karkera won round-trip air tickets to Mumbai sponsored by Unitrans Budget (2 Nos), Arabasco and Kanoo Travel respectively.

Each member was presented with a Titan watch and a perfume pack sponsored by Al Hussain & Al Yahya Investment Group & Avon Beauty Company respectively.

The children's raffle comprising bicycles and remote-controlled toys were sponsored by Binzagr Co-ro. The Tambola game was sponsored with generous gifts from ALJ Group Electronics Division Toshiba & Dora.
