I-T Dept sends notice to E&Y |

The Income-Tax Department has sent a notice to Ernst & Young (E&Y) seeking a copy of the due diligence report in the Vodafone tax case, sources said. E&Y is examining the IT departments notice, the response of which is expected in few days, the source added.
E&Y had conducted due diligence of Vodafone-Hutch transaction. However, the I-T department order on the jurisdiction in the case is still pending.
