ICAI President, CA.K.Raghu marking his first step of IT initiative's launched a women's flexi-hour job portal which will help 50,000 (approx.) women Chartered Accountants to secure job opportunities across the globe.

In his words:
"This portal will help women members find suitable opportunities including part time/flexi-hours jobs or jobs with work-from-home option,"

Apart for finding jobs and post vacancy, this portal also provides important announcements, articles of interest and health tips to women members. A jobseeker and employer needs to create an account by registering themselves on the portal.

A women member can be either a Qualified CA or Semi Qualified Accounting Professional. Current Functional Areas are:
1. Direct Tax
2. Indirect Tax
3. Consultancy
4. Financial Accounting
5. Cost Accounting
6. Internal Audit
7. Certification Assignments
8. Compulsory Tax Audit
9. Statutory Audit
10. IGAAP
11. IFRS
12. XBRL
13. USGAAP
14. Others

The registration can be done by any women, student or member, of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India residing in any country across the globe.

Recruiters can be a Corporate or a CA firm.

The aesthetics (color and design) of the portal is professional and appealing.

This initiative is in contrast with past 3 years where no major IT initiative has been undertaken by the ICAI.
