The Supreme Court today cancelled the bails of two former Satyam auditors allegedly involved in the Rs. 14,000 crore scam. They have been directed to surrender by April 30.
S Gopalakrishnan was looking after the audit of Satyam Computers Services Limited and VSP Gupta was the internal auditor of the company. The two auditors were let on bail by the AP High Court earlier.
The CBI had moved the Supreme Court seeking cancellation bail to them. In October, 2010 the Supreme Court had cancelled the bails of B. Ramalinga Raju, B. Rama Raju, V. Srinivas, G. Ramakrishna, Venkatapathi Raju and Ch. Srisailam allegedly involved in the Satyam scam.
In the same month, the Supreme Court directed the special court in Hyderabad to complete the trial by July 31, 2011.
