The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a premier professional Accountancy body today organized a Press Conference regarding the 4-day National Leadership and Yoga Camp at Haridwar. The conference was presided over by CA. Anuj Goyal Chief Coordinator and member of Central Council of ICAI. Also, present were CA. Anil Verma, coordinator of the camp, CA.Anil Jain, CA.Atul Jindal and CA.Vipin Kumar, State Coordinators.
While addressing the media, CA. Anuj Goyal said This 4 day camp from March 13th-16th is being organized by the Institute at Haridwar for 3 tiers of leadership of ICAI - Central Council, Regional Council and branches-all elected representatives of the CA fraternity. Mr. Goyal said The camp would be inaugurated by renowned yoga guru, Swami Ramdev ji in the presence of President, ICAI, CA. Uttam Prakash Agarwal.
CA. Anuj Goyal further gave details regarding the various sessions of this camp. He said that The Chartered Accountants have performed exceedingly well in various fields and the Indian industry has placed substantial faith in their ability to deliver. The various sessions of the camp has been scheduled in such a manner that the Chartered Accountants who are attending this camp, can get the ways to manage their stressful work schedule and can come out with new ideas for bright future of the Accountancy profession.
This Yoga camp will enable the members to refine, realize and deepen their thinking that will enhance their capacity to perform various duties in a more effective way in the present challenging scenario. The inner strength gained through Yoga Camp will prove a valuable tool in changing their role of not merely of the bookkeepers but as total business solution providers i.e covering the wider range of financial services such as valuation , forex, treasury management, arbitration, corporate restructuring etc. The profession which is making its presence felt in the diverse areas such as financial analysis and business remodeling, economic and corporate laws will be definitely benefited out of this exercise.
For those, who are too busy to perform an entire set of yoga asanas or breathing exercises, Swami Ramdev suggests the performance of specific exercises which provide relief from a particular type of health problem or disease. Yoga has moral benefits as well and those who practice it regularly develop patience and strength of character. The Institute has a large membership base of about 1,50,000 members spread across the country. This camp will be an additional benefit to its members and officials in realizing their energies and techniques to reduce the stressful lifestyle.
