Good for salaried people
March, 05th 2008

This Budget is more fascinating for salaried people as increase in the income limit would help us a lot. There are a lot of good things in the Budget .Giving a big chunk of Budget to the education is a welcome move. The investment in education and infrastructure are important for India shining story to sustain and grow. There should have been more emphasis on roads and others infrastructure related activities.

One thing I feel FM should have given more emphasis on retail partition in the stock market as it is very low compared to the institutions and FIIs, small incentives should have given it to the retail investors. It will increase the stability in the market as the retail partition increases. One more disappointment goes with tax holidays for IT sector.
