ICAI JK bags best branch award

J&K branch of Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has bagged ‘best branch award.’ The award has come to it in recognition of its “commendable performance in Small Branches category for 2013.” MP and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley presented the award to its office bearers namely CA Dalip Kaul (Chairman) , CA Anil Sharma (Secretary) and CA Shalay Razdan (Treasurer) at a glittering function at Le Meridian at New Delhi. CA K Raghu (President ICAI) and CA Manoj Fadnis (Vice Chairman, ICAI), Central Council Members, Office Bearers and Executive Members of NIRC were present. CA Dalip Kaul highlighted various initiatives taken by the branch during the past year and stressed on the contribution made by Chartered Accountants to the economy of the State.
