The Mangalore branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will conduct a conference on direct taxes on February 5-6.

A press release by Murali Mohan, Chairman of the Mangalore branch of ICAI, said that the theme of this national conference is ‘Uthkarshan,’ meaning ‘continuous improvement.’

The conference aims to keep chartered accountants and finance professionals abreast with the latest issues in taxation.

Hosted by the Mangalore Branch of ICAI under the aegis of the Direct Taxes Committee of ICAI, the conference will have eight technical sessions spread over two days.
