The Income Tax raid at the residence and office premises of Labour India Group of Publications MD Santhosh George Kulangara continued for the second day on Friday.

Income Tax sources said that the simultaneous raids at the offices and the residence of the 35-year-old travel freak from Marangattupally in Kottayam district were on. A senior officer in the IT Department said that it was premature to comment on it. The raid was launched after certain departmental intelligence inputs that Kulangara had committed tax evasion. Sources at the Labour India office said that the raid was still on and Kulangara, who had been on an expedition to Antarctica, would return only on Sunday.
