Prof Subhash Sarnikar, Chairman of ICFAI, has welcomed the move to allow the entry of foreign universities in India. Addressing the Convocation of ICFAI University here on Saturday, he said emergence of private universities and permissions for foreign universities would go a long way in increasing the number of seats available to students aspiring for higher education.
He said the number of universities sponsored by ICFAI had gone up to seven in different States. The institute also received letters of intent from the Governments of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh to establish universities, an ICFAI press release said.
