State firm on compensation from Centre ... » Seminar on s ervice tax November, 19th 2012 Central excise, customs and service tax commissionerate and Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry are jointly organizing a seminar on 'Service Tax' from 3pm on Wednesday at the Chamber Hall, Chamber Building, Jawahar Nagar, Kowdiar. The seminar aims at facilitating assesses and trade by creating awareness on the new provision of service tax. G Ravindranath, additional commissioner - central excise, customs and service tax, will inaugurate the seminar. SL Sreeparvathy, assistant commissioner of central excise will conduct a presentation on the new provision. This will be followed by a question-answer session in which assesses/trade can raise their queries to experts.
