42nd CAs' regional meet
November, 11th 2010

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will organise the twoday 42nd regional conference at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kaloor, on November 27 and 28. Union Ministers Pranab Mukherji, A K Antony, Vayalar Ravi and K V Thomas are expected to attend the conference. Amarjit Chopra, president,ICAI, will preside over the inaugural session.

The theme of the conference will be 'Jnana marga New challenges, new frontiers.'

The logo of the conference was released by Mayor Tony Chammany on Wednesday. The chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes S S N Murthy will be the chief guest at the valedictory session.

The regional conference will be attended by around 5,000 chartered accountants.
