Hyderabad A court here hearing the alleged multi-crore Satyam accounting scam, on Thursday posted the hearing on framing of charges against B Ramalinaga Raju, former chairman of Satyam Computer and nine other accused in the matter to December 9.

The XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court, the designated CBI court, also extended the judicial remand of Raju and others till the same date. Bharath Kumar, counsel for the defence, said they have not received the copy of the supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI on November 24.

"The copies of the supplementary chargesheet are yet to be supplied to all the accused. The magistrate has to take the cognisance of the chargesheet and would take decision," Kumar told reporters.

On November 11, the CBI filed a memo in the court with regard to framing of charges against the accused.

Taking strong exception to CBI claims that it has got evidence of an additional fraud of Rs 4,739 crore in the case, the counsel for the Rajus alleged the investigating agency's claim was baseless.

All the accused, except Ramalinga Raju, who has been undergoing treatment for Hepatitis-C at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, were brought to the court amid tight security. They were taken back to Chanchalguda prison after the court extended the remand. Another accused B Suryanarayana Raju is on anticipatory bail.
