The Income Tax Department has issued notices to seven persons including three Madhya Pradesh ministers and asked them to file their Income Tax returns regularly.
The other four are former ministers.
The Income Tax officials issued the notices to them as they were not furnishing their tax returns despite several reminders sent to them, official sources said here today.
The ministers against whom the notices were issued are Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargav, PWD Minister Nagendra Singh and Minister of State for Revenue, Karan Singh Verma, they said.
Apart from them, the Income Tax Department also issued notices to four former Madhya Pradesh ministers-- Narottam Mishra, Kusum Mehadele, Kamal Patel and Himmat Kothari, sources said.
