New offer available for filing tax returns online, how to avail

Airtel and ClearTax have launched a new feature called GST advantage, that will make it easy for businesses to file e-returns. India’s largest telecom service provider Airtel has a B2B wing called Airtel Business, which has announced the new Airtel GST Advantage service. This is a project specially designed to make it simpler for small enterprises and start-ups to file their GST (Goods and Service Tax) returns is a safer and accurate way. This service by the telecom company has been announced in partnership with a popular tax filing platform called Cleartax. It should be noted that the Airtel GST Advantage offer is available only to current Airtel Business subscribers.
Airtel GST Advantage uses ClearTax’s platform which offers GST utilities to its customers. ClearTax offers cloud-based tools that help businesses with their GST needs, including the creation of invoices, return filing, and performing reconciliation. With Airtel GST Advantage, customers can access ClearTax’s services free of charge, as there is no subscription fee for the service. Interestingly, Airtel Business users, who avail this service will get free additional data of up to 18 GB for a validity period of three months. The users will get 2GB of data per month per connection for a maximum of 3 devices. Airtel Business users can access the ClearTax service till March 31, 2018.
In order to use Airtel GST Advantage, all you need to do is register on ‘www.airtel.in/gst-advantage’. You can access GST Advantage Helpdesk, managed by experts, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on all weekdays. You will also be provided with a GST Knowledge Bank, which will answer most of your queries. When it comes to filing, users are given 4G data to complete the process, which is a major advantage.
“With Airtel GST Advantage, we would like to enable small businesses with the free filing of returns, and free and secure data access. Airtel is also the data hosting and connectivity partner for the Goods and Services Network (GSTN),” said Ashok Ganapathy, Director and CEO (Airtel Business).
