The Kerala GST department has notified that registrations for entities mandated to collect and deduct tax at source (TDS) have been made compulsory from last Monday (September 18).
The notification said that government or semi-government institutions, societies and public sector organisations are expected to complete the registration formalities.
The department further declared that the last date for filing the GSTR returns have been extended for specific entities. Dealers with a turnover of 100 crore and above must file the returns latest by October 3 and those below that threshold, by October 10.
The last date for filing GSTR-2 returns is October 31, and that for GSTR-3 October 10. The GST department announced that the last date for filing Tran-1 declaration too has been extended to Oct 31.
