The Pre-Budget Memorandum for the Union Budget 2010-11 is to be submitted to the Government by ICAI preferably by November 15, 2009. In this regard, the Direct Taxes Committee of ICAI requests you to kindly give your valuable suggestions to be included in such Pre-Budget Memorandum under the following heads:
Suggestions for widening the tax base and increasing the tax revenue

Suggestions to check tax avoidance

Suggestions for rationalization of the provisions of Direct Tax Laws
