Report on National Conclave for CA Students held at Visakhapatnam on 18th&19th July, 2014

Board of Studies organized a National Conclave on 18th&19th July, 2014 at Visakhapatnam which was hosted by
Visakhapatnam branch of SIRC of ICAI and Visakhapatnam branch of SICASA. The theme of the Conclave was
"Varadhi--Bridge to Knowledge". Nine Hundred and Fifty Four number(954 nos.) of students participated in the
conclave including twelve student speakers.

Inaugural session: CA M.Devaraja Reddy Chairman Board of Studies, ICAI had graced the occasion as `Chief
Guest' of the inaugural session and gave his valuable message to students. Senior Chartered Accountants from
Visakhapatnam attended the inaugural session and appreciated the active participation of students in the National
Conclave.

All the student speakers and chairman of the sessions were honored and appreciated with a memento at the end
of each technical session. Student speakers were also given participation certificates in appreciation of their
paper presentation.






Validictory Session: All the Managing Committee members of Visakhapatnam branch, attended Validictory
session and delivered their messages to students besides presenting mementoes to volunteers of the National
Conclave. Background material along with kits consisting of Laptop back bags and Mugs with ICAI logowas given
to all the student delegates.
