A total of 131 students from the city have qualified to pursue their career as chartered accountants (CAs) as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared the results of the integrated professional competency course (IPCC) and professional competency course (PCC).
Results of IPCC both groups and PCC both groups have almost doubled compared to last year's pass percent. In case of IPCC both groups, 104 out of 383 students cleared the exams giving 27 pass percentage - a difference of 13% compared to last year when the pass percentage stood at 14%. Similarly, in the case of PCC both groups, 27 out of 276 students cleared the exams giving 10 pass percentage - double compared to last year's percent which was five%.
"In fact, results of Baroda centre in IPCC (both groups) with 27% are even better compared to the All India pass% of 20%," Manilal Parsiya, chairman of the Baroda branch of Western Indian Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI told TOI.
