Hundreds of students in Patna on Monday participated in a seminar organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to learn tricks and tips to conquer the rigorous Chartered Accounting test that, once cleared, opens up a completely new window for the students of commerce and business.
The two-day seminar was inaugurated by the ICAI council member Anuj Goel, ICAI Delhi Director R. Devarajan, CICAASA (Patna) members Satish Kumar, Navneet Kumar Nitish, Ashutosh Sharma, and Manish Kumar at the Agrasen Bhawan.
With experts from Delhi and Kanpur, the students learnt the theoretical and practical aspects of pursuing a career in the Chartered Accountancy field and how to prepare for the test that has a long history of selecting only a few and the brightest among hundreds of thousands of aspirants each year.
While noted Kanpur Chartered Accountant Kamlesh Chauhan apprised the students of the impact of the recently introduced Service Tax in the business world, Ravi Gupta of Delhi discussed how business houses would be affected by the tax relief as provisioned under Section 10 of the Income Tax Law.
The experts also answered a number of questions from a crowd of very eager students who wanted to know about the right way to prepare for the CA exams and what type of questions to expect under the fast-changing global business environment.
