The Indian rupee opened at Rs 48. 10 per dollar versus Rs 47.95 yesterday.
On Tuesday, the spot rupee ended lower at Rs 47.95 per USD as against its previous close of Rs 47.80 per USD.
According to N Subramaniam, Pinnacle Forex, the rupee is likely to be weak after the decline in global equity markets. Monsoon worries and dollar's strength are also going to weigh on the currency. The range for the day is seen between Rs 47.95-48.30 per dollar.
