TO BE PUBLISHED IN PART III SECTION 4 OF THE GAZETTE OF INDIA NOTIFICATION 4th August, 2008 No. 13-CA (EXAM)/N/2008 -II: - In partial modification of the Institutes Notification No. No. 13-CA (EXAM)/N/2008 dated 23rd July, 2008 it is notified for general information that in view of the introduction of the Final (New Course) as per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 31 (ii) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the first Final (New Course) examination will also be held in November, 2008 along with Final (Existing Course) examination between 1st November, 2008 to 16th November, 2008 as per details given below in all the centres as notified in the Institutes Notification No. 13-CA (EXAM)/N/2008 dated 23rd July, 2008 . FINAL (NEW COURSE) EXAMINATION: [As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 31 (ii) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.] Group -I: 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th November, 2008 Group -II: 9th, 11th, 14th and 16th November, 2008 (Examination Timings between 01.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.) (IST) The fees payable for the above examination is as under: - FINAL (NEW COURSE) EXAMINATION For Both the Groups Rs. 1750/- For one of the Groups Rs. 1000/- Candidates of Final (New Course) examination opting for Dubai/Abu Dhabi Centre are required to remit, US$ 300 or its equivalent Indian Currency irrespective of whether the candidates appear in a group or in both the groups. Candidates of Final (New Course) Examination opting for Kathmandu centre are required to remit Indian Rs.2250/- or its equivalent relevant foreign currency irrespective of whether the candidates appear in a group or in both the groups. OPTION TO ANSWER PAPERS IN HINDI: Candidates of Final (New Course) Examination will be allowed to opt for Hindi medium for answering papers.
