Filing of IT return - Extension of due date in Bihar The CBDT has extended the due date for filing returns of income from 31 July 2007 to 16 August 2007 only for the state of Bihar due to disruption caused by floods in the state. Due Date for Filing it Return Extended in Bihar The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the last date of filing of income tax returns in the State of Bihar in view of the disruption caused by floods in the State. The due date of filing return of income is 31st July but tax payers in Bihar can file it by 16th August, 2007. BSC/RP/DN-328
