The Supreme Court has given interim relief of two weeks to Mahindra Satyam ( Satyam Computer Services )) in tax dispute case. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) had claimed that Satyam Computers had to pay dues of Rs 614 crore.
The CBDT order will not be implemented from immediate effect.
The company in its reply said the tax figures were inflated.
The stock was at Rs 92.05, up 2.05 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 92.75 and low of Rs 89.80 in trade so far.
