The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday summoned all audit reports pertaining to utilisation of NRHM funds in UP, prepared by the state and central teams.

The court also summoned the record of the tenders of UP Small Industries Corporation Limited, which was given work worth Rs 39 crore from NRHM in 2009-10 and 2010-11.

The Bench of Justices Pradeep Kant and Ritu Raj Awasthi, which was hearing a PIL by a local journalist Sachchidanand demanding a CBI probe in the bungling of funds in the implementation of NRHM, listed the matter for August 4.

The court has asked us to produce all audit reports of the NRHM, including the report by a team from the Central government in December 2010 as well as the yearly statutory report by both the state and the Central governments, said Additional Advocate General J N Mathur.
