VAT amendment
July, 03rd 2010
The State Government has decided to amend the Schedule I of the Manipur Value Added Tax Act 2004 by increasing VAT rate from 4 percent to 5 percent and 12.5 percent to 13.5 percent on the categories of items as prescribed in the Schedule I.A Government circular said that any objection, suggestion, view and comment, if any, may be submitted in writing at the office of Commissioner of Taxes, Manipur within 14 days.
