State finance ministers and the Centre are likely to discuss the GST bill on August 4. The discussions on the bill may continue to August 5-6.
Several states are on board for the constitutional amendment. However, some BJP-ruled states have expressed concerns on GST. They want the states' autonomy to be protected.
The Centre is ready for give and take to usher in GST.
