India's direct tax collections rose an annual 15.49 percent to 686.8 billion rupees in the April-June period, the finance ministry said on Tuesday. Corporate taxes during the period, the first three months of the financial year, rose 21.65 percent on the year to 434.4 billion rupees, the ministry said in a statement.
