Invitation for Expression of Interest – Organising Carbon Neutral WCOA 2022

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the second largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the world, with a strong tradition of service to the Indian economy in public interest. As one of the steps towards partnering in nation building, ICAI has constituted Sustainability Reporting Standards Board (SRSB) in February, 2020 with the mission to bring sustainability reporting and thinking within mainstream business practices both in the public and private sectors. Since inception, the Board has taken various initiatives and is working persistently for contribution towards attainment of the global call of sustainability by increasing awareness and implementing measures to improve sustainability.

The 21st World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) 2022, organized by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), is being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is scheduled to be held from November 18-21, 2022, in India’s financial capital, Mumbai at the Jio World Convention Centre.
