The Indian Taxation system, particularly under indirect tax structure, has been
evolving on account of major economic developments. With GST expected to be
introduced from 1st April 2016, newer challenges and opportunities are expected to
come. To be prepared for upcoming opportunities, it is necessary for the members to
update their knowledge to meet the requirements. In order to prepare for the
upcoming challenges and to be abreast with the regime of Indian taxation, Indirect
Taxes Committee of ICAI has undertaken an initiative of organise a National
