Chairmen of all Regional Councils/Chairmen of all Branches/Convenors of Study
Circles/CPE Chapters/Study Groups and all Committee Secretaries of the ICAI

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in continuation of our previous letter No.CPE/Circular/2008 dated March
11, 2008. As instructed by the President, it is hereby informed that no CPE Programmes
whatsoever of any nature under the banner of the Institute/Regional Council/Branch/Study Circle/Chapter/Study Group, shall be organized/conducted during the period when the Examinations of the Institute are being conducted and also on the day prior to the Examination dates. The following are the dates of the various examinations scheduled during the Year 2008-09:

June 08, 2008 -                                CPT Examination
June 21, 2008 -                                ISA AT
November 01 to 10, 2008 (Tentative) - PCC and Final Examinations
December 14, 2008 -                         CPT Examination

Accordingly, you are requested to please ensure that while working out a
plan for CPE Programmes, no programmes are scheduled on the abovementioned
dates and also on the day prior to the above dates.

In case, any CPE Programme is already scheduled on any of the abovementioned
date/s or on a day earlier, please ensure that the same may immediately be
got rescheduled to another date/s.
