Taking time off from book- keeping, chartered accountants here have pledged to make the city greener by planting 60,000 saplings this year.

An assurance to this effect was given to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at a function to celebrate the 60th anniversary of ICAI.

The institute also organised a marathon as part of the celebrations, ICAI president Ved Jain said.
