India.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered
Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No. XXXVIII of 1949) for the regulation of the profession of Chartered
Accountants in India. During its 66 years of existence, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier
accounting body not only in the country but also globally, for its contribution in the fields of education,
professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards. ICAI now is
the second largest accounting body in the whole world.

The Committee on Information Technology (CIT) has been established by the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of India to identify Information Technology challenges facing the profession and convert
them into gainful professional opportunities for members by conducting Conferences, Seminars, Practical
Workshops, Training programs and Professional courses apart from developing Practice Guides, Training
Aids, Software's and Publications on Information Technology for the benefit of its members.






Considering the huge professional opportunities in the area of Forensic Audit and Fraud Detection, the
Committee on Information Technology of ICAI is taking various initiatives to promote Certificate Course
on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection by chalking out a very ambitious plan for organizing batches
of Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection across India.

The Committee is in the process of enhancing the faculties for taking the sessions in this course and is
planning to organize a Faculty Development programme 29th to 31st May at the following Venue:

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Plot No C-40, G-Block, Bandra Kurla Complex,
Bandra (East), Mumbai 400 051.

Hence, applications are invited from the interested candidates to participate in this faculty development
program and the shortlisted candidates will be empanelled as faculty for the Certificate Course of
Forensic Accounting & Fraud Detection.

Interested faculties specialized in the relevant areas are requested to register online through the link
