ICAI feted Chief Commissioner Central Excise Custom and Service Tax

Nagpur Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India led by Chairman of ICAI Nagpur Branch CA. Kirti Agrawal met and felicitated Chief Commissioner Central Excise, Custom and Service Tax, Nagpur S K Panda.

Chairman, Nagpur Branch of ICAI CA. Kirti Agrawal briefed about the activities of the branch. She informed that Nagpur branch which is catering to around 2000 members and more than 12000 students at Nagpur. It has been awarded as the best branch at All India level on several occasions. She said that the Branch organizes various events for updating its members and society at large. She elucidated various events organized by the Nagpur branch for the benefit of members and students.

S.K. Panda reacting to the felicitation said he is impressed with the progress made by Nagpur Branch of ICAI. He lauded the efforts of the branch in the development of the Chartered Accountancy profession. He informed the members present about various measures being taken by the Central Excise, Custom & Service Tax department to create assessee friendly atmosphere.

Prominently present on the occasion were Chairman if ICAI CA Kirti Agrawal, Immediate Past Chairman of ICAI CA Ashwini Agrawal, Secretary of ICAI CA. Sandeep Jotwani, Past Chairman CA. Rajesh Loya and CA. Amit Agrawal.
