Urban Co-operative Banks play a big role in Indian economy. Urban Co-operative Banks are much more
important in India than anywhere else in the world. Over the years, urban cooperative banks have
registered a significant growth in number, size and volume of business handled. The distinctive character

analyzing and fathoming out the role of Reserve Bank of India in UCBs and role of Urban Co-operative
