UTI Equity Fund declares 10% tax-free dividend
April, 15th 2009

UTI-Equity Fund declares tax-free dividend of 10 per cent (Rs.1.00 per unit on face value of Rs.10/-. Pursuant to the payment of dividend, the NAV of the dividend option of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy if any.

All unit holders registered under the dividend option of UTI- Equity Fund as on April 16, 2009 will be eligible for this dividend. Also investors who join the dividend option of the scheme on or before the record date will be eligible for the dividend.

The record date for the dividend is April 16, 2009. The NAV per unit as on April 9, 2009 was Rs.25.71 under the dividend option.

UTI Equity Fund is an open-end equity scheme having over 8.75 lakh investors in its records and a fund size of over Rs.1121 crore.
