ICAI invites applications for the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO).
 
Desired Qualifications: The candidate should be a post graduate in the technical field with qualification of MCA / M.Tech /MS from a reputed institution and having good academic record throughout.

Required experience and skills:
Previous experience as a CIO or an IT manager level position, and having worked in the industry for at least 10 years.
Demonstrated skills in managing projects of various sizes & technologies as well as in the development of strategic architecture.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning
Provide vision & leadership for developing & implementing IT initiatives
Define, update and implement IT strategy
Manage IT across the enterprise
Align IT objectives and programs to enterprise objectives & strategies
 
Control
Align the IT team with enterprise performance objectives
Control performance objective and overall IT budget
Define metrics based on overall business objectives
 
Service
Select, manage and control IT service providers
Manage outsourced services
Establish strategic service provider partnerships
 
Risk Management
Align IT risk management within the IT productivity objectives
Align IT risk management with enterprise- wide risk management
 
Business Process
Follow IT systems development methodology
Optimize & design enterprise processes via IT
Define & adjust IT standards & technologies
 
Strategic IT initiatives
Plan & manage strategic IT initiatives
Manage IT applications portfolio
Manage IT projects
Consolidate the IT process across the enterprise
 
Database & Document Management
Define a document management process
Plan & manage a database management
 
Remuneration Negotiable - Commensurate with relevant experience, past track record, qualification, last pay drawn etc.

Nature of engagement- Contractual / Regular.
