CBDT member gets S Zone charge

The Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, has decided on the work distribution for Mr S.S. Khan, who was recently appointed as a member in the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). Mr Khan would be member (Audit and Judicial) at the Board. He would also hold charge of Southern Zone, official sources said.

Ms Sunita Kaila, who as CBDT member was earlier holding charge of `Audit and Judicial', would now be member (Investigation). Mr P.K. Misra, erstwhile member (Investigation), was recently elevated to the post of CBDT Chairman. The CBDT is now in full strength with six members and a Chairman.
