SAFA with active participation and support from the World Bank plans to establish an effective Virtual Knowledge and Training Centre for Financial Reporting to serve Asia Region. The SAFA online centre seeks to establish forums where best practices can be shared, defined, refined, debunked, or disseminated with active participation of individual members of participating countries. Best practices include the processes of developing, sharing, preserving, and improving expertise. Bench marking those best practices helps individuals and organizations manage change and performance improvement.
Towards that goal SAFA’s online platform design involves providing tools to collaborate between people, departments, member bodies, and companies working together for the success of the organization’s people, processes, and future livelihood. It focuses on dialogue and interacting with others to learn more, generate ideas, and share knowledge. SAFA’s online centre seeks to make information readily available when it’s needed. However, if members don’t share or access and leverage the information, the process stops.
In order to understand the community’s needs and the participating member’s expectations, from the virtual knowledge sharing site, we are conducting a short survey to set expectations. This would take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.
